How It's Made
I drew this by hand on a sheet of frosted Mylar using a black Prismacolor Verithin Pencil, using a cross-hatching technique. I then exposed the image onto the solarplate. After that, I inked up the solar plate using Etching Inks. Finally, I took the plate to the press to be printed on Rives BFK paper. Each plate is dropped twice. The first time I run it through the press, I use only black ink. The second time I run it through the press I use colored inks. Although some prints may have similar colors, each print is unique.
These are hand-drawn/exposed/printed prints. This means they were physically drawn, inked, and put on the press by me and cranked through the press with my own hands. Each print is titled, numbered, and signed. There are 10 prints in each edition.
PLEASE NOTE: The colors in the photographs will differ slightly from the colors on the actual print. This is due to the different color settings on monitors.
With every purchase, you receive a Certificate of Authenticity to protect your investment and to prove the artwork is a genuine original piece of artwork created by me (Deadra D. Kolker).
